THE ORIGINAL: An artist personally creates this, and no two will ever be exactly the same. If it's an oil painting, you'll see variations in the textures and distinct brushstrokes. Because of the time and talent needed to create it, an original is the most expensive form of an artwork.
THE GICLÉE: This is a fine-art digital print that captures every detail of the original work of art. Our giclées often have a hand-applied gel finish that replicates some of the texture of the brushstrokes in the original. Because giclées can be easily reproduced, the versions are more uniform and affordable than originals.
