Museum Collection Tin Plates

Take outdoor entertaining to an entirely new level with these fabulous tin plates based on designs from internationally known museum collections.
  • The Tobacco Leaf plate (shown in front) reproduces a design referred to as the "Tobacco Leaf" pattern adapted from a late 18th, early 19th century Chinese vase in the Metropolitan Museum's collection.
  • The Three Garlands plate (shown in center) reproduces a design taken from a Sevres porcelain saucer dated 1766 and shows a ground pattern invented by the porcelain painter Vincent Taillandier (1736-90).
  • The Manchester plate (shown in back) reproduces a design from a Sevres service given as a diplomatic gift by King Louis XVI to the Duchess of Manchester, the wife of the British Ambassador to the court of Versailles upon the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, which brought an end to the American Revolution.
