Dramatically oversized patterns are a major trend in textiles, and this hand-tufted rug reflects it beautifully. The damask design on a grand scale is deeply hand carved in the wool pile. Available in White on Black, Black on Dark Brown (featured with ottoman), or Black on Purple (featured with White on Black rug), the rug is treated with stain guard and has a cotton backing. Select color when ordering. Imported.

Hand-knotted rugs tend to shed less than hand-tufted rugs, and flatweave rugs will shed less than those with a deeper pile, but all rugs will shed more in high-traffic areas than they do in lower-traffic spaces.

We recommend using a rug pad with every indoor rug to prolong its beauty by minimizing everyday wear and tear and providing a little breathing space to help prevent fiber damage. A pad also helps stabilize the rug, reducing slippage on hard floors.

These rug pads are the solution to prevent rugs from wrinkling, buckling, or slipping on any surface, from hardwoods or tile to carpeting. Rug pads come with a clean-lift adhesive that makes them easy to reposition and they will not discolor. Made in the USA of polyester.
