We love the muted earth tones and traditional pattern of this handmade rug. Handspun wool and an ancient dyeing technique together with a densely woven thick pile captures the authentic look and feel of rugs made in the late 19th century in the Anatolian region.

Please note: Rugs (especially wool rugs) are prone to a natural shedding process. With regular vacuuming, the shedding will decrease over time. Hand-knotted rugs tend to shed less than hand-tufted rugs, and flatweave rugs will shed less than those with a deeper pile, but all rugs will shed more in high-traffic areas than they do in lower-traffic spaces.

We recommend using a rug pad with every indoor rug to prolong its beauty by minimizing everyday wear and tear and providing a little breathing space to help prevent fiber damage. A pad also helps stabilize the rug, reducing slippage on hard floors.

Rug Pads

These rug pads are the solution to prevent rugs from wrinkling, buckling, or slipping on any surface, from hardwoods or tile to carpeting. Rug pads come with a clean-lift adhesive that makes them easy to reposition and they will not discolor. Made in the USA of polyester.
  • On smooth floors, use black side down.
  • On carpeting, use white side down.
