About ValpeltroBased in Brescia, an area in northern Italy known for its pewter products, Valpeltro was founded in 1975 by Lorenzo Artale, a pewter craftsman with years of experience and a love of the material. Every piece produced by Valpeltro is cast metal (not pressed), then polished, brushed, and antiqued by hand, bringing out its distinctive luster.
