Beaded pewter charger from is sold separately. Individual soup tureen with lid is made of pewter; holds 10 ounces. Both are made by Valpeltro in Italy.

About Caff Ceramiche
Caff Ceramiche is based in Gubbio, an amazing medieval town near Perugia in the Umbria region of Italy. The company's story began in 1920 thanks to Carlo Alberto Rossi, a skillful researcher and a talented student of the most difficult and ancient ceramic techniques. Today the company is headed by Rossi's grandson who utilizes advanced techniques and innovative materials to continue the family's strong tradition of producing quality handcrafted Italian dinnerware.

About Valpeltro
Based in Brescia, an area in northern Italy known for its pewter products, Valpeltro was founded in 1975 by Lorenzo Artale, a pewter craftsman with years of experience and a love of the material. Every piece produced by Valpeltro is cast metal (not pressed), then polished, brushed, and antiqued by hand, bringing out its distinctive luster.
