Luisa Maisel is an American ceramic artist who has been living and working in France for the past 40 years. She has exhibited her work all over the world in foundations, museums, galleries, and international art venues, exploring various themes, including “Stacking & Piling,” “Portraits,” and “Ceramic-ing.” Maisel’s Colorful Confinement Vases series, which began in 2020, features one-of-a-kind originals that are hand-stained, hand-built, and fired at a high temperature to provoke controlled deformation and maximum transparency.
