Please note: Rugs (especially wool rugs) are prone to a natural shedding process. With regular vacuuming, the shedding will decrease over time. Hand-knotted rugs tend to shed less than hand-tufted rugs, and flatweave rugs will shed less than those with a deeper pile, but all rugs will shed more in high-traffic areas than they do in lower-traffic spaces.Unfortunately, we cannot provide rug swatches at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We recommend using a rug pad with every indoor rug to prolong its beauty by minimizing everyday wear and tear and providing a little breathing space to help prevent fiber damage. A pad also helps stabilize the rug, reducing slippage on hard floors.

About Surya Rugs:
Surya Rugs weaves a tapestry of style and sophistication in the world of floor coverings. With a commitment to innovation, it curates an extensive range of rugs that blend tradition with contemporary flair, enhancing spaces with color, texture, and timeless appeal. In 1976, a chance encounter in North India between a buyer from a major Department Store and Surya Tiwari led to the creation of Surya Rugs, which started out as a small supplier of hand-knotted rugs. Realizing that it was critical to have more direct contact with customers, Surya Tiwari established a division in the U.S. in 1986 and appointed his son, Satya, as president in 2006. With the goal of becoming the go-to resource for fashion-forward rugs and home furnishings, Satya has incrementally added new product categories to Surya's initial rug offerings. Like his father, Satya continues to push the boundaries of the home decor industry by continually investing in people, products, technology, and infrastructure to position customers for long-term success. Surya Rugs is obsessed with design details, driven to push the boundaries of color, pattern, texture and form. Its creative journey takes it to all corners of the globe to draw inspiration for beautiful products that will enhance the spaces they are placed in, today and for a lifetime.
